Super Blue Moon are a UK trio channeling the spirit of 70s British rock into a modern live-wire sound. Formed through years of collaboration between Darren McGrath, Ben Balsom, and Zoie Green, the band found their identity the old way: jamming, gigging, and road-testing songs across pubs and venues in the South West of England.
All three members share vocal and songwriting duties, creating a dynamic, full-bodied sound that blends heavy riffs, melodic hooks and a touch of psychedelia. Drawing from a wide range of musical backgrounds, Super Blue Moon bring both experience and instinct into everything they do - keeping things raw, real, and rooted in the energy of live rock.
Darren has toured the world and played over 1,000 shows. This is the first project where he's brought the vocals to the back of the stage—flying the flag for all the singing drummers out there.
Laid-back riffs, soaring solos, and a tone that will take you back to the golden era of British rock. Ben has shaped his sound through years of gigs and festivals across the UK, sharing his love of Les Pauls and Selmer amps wherever he goes. Imagine if Peter Green met Paul Kossoff in a bar with Tony Iommi but all they talked about was Neil Young… Now you're in the right sonic territory.
Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter Zoie has played in a range of heavy rock outfits. She notably performed alongside former Hawkwind bassist Alan Davey as part of the Psychedelic Warlords, bringing space rock to audiences across Europe. Expect driving bass tones and a powerful rock vocal.
